Keri Systems and Allegion have teamed up to create a very powerful security integration solution.

Using Keri’s tried and true software application, Doors.net, you can manage various access control hardware platforms including one of the latest emerging technologies on the market: wireless locks. Wireless locks are typically used in locations where it would be difficult or cost-prohibitive to install a wired lock and provides a standard set of access control features. They can also be used in vertical market spaces like multi-tenant, hotels/resorts, medical and education among many, many others.  Older buildings, in particular, are considered prime candidates for wireless locks, as the running of wire in dated and historically significant facilities can be challenging.

Opportunities are endless with Keri’s latest integration plans with Allegion’s newest series of wireless locks, including their cost-effective NDE™ series and the new Control™ Wireless series. The reliable AD400 series also remains a viable, previously integrated solution.

So how does it work? Let’s start with Allegion’s wireless locks. Within each available series, respective locks are available in a number of different finishes and configurations. They each have all of the door functions built in, which are communicated back to Keri’s controllers and software to provide complete integration, management and access control functionality, including emergency lockdown mode.

Each one of Keri’s Mercury™ Powered NXT-4D Controllers can connect with up to 64 Allegion AD-400 wireless locks, or 40 NDE/LE wireless locks, via a panel interface module (PIM).  The smaller Keri NXT-2D Controller can connect to 32 AD-400 wireless locks and up to 20 NDE/LE via PIM.

Keri and Allegion have engaged in a full-on training interaction, to familiarize each organization’s sales and support staff with the features and benefits of this synergistic integration.  Group meetings will start immediately between the organizations and co-branded sales and marketing efforts are planned to start shortly.
