Keri’s 2023 Recap: A Message From Our CEO
Reflecting back, 2023 was a year of considerable evolution for Keri. In addition to enhancing the Doors.NET feature set and implementing several Integrator tools to simplify the management of their systems, Borealis continued to evolve at a breakneck pace, with new features being introduced virtually every month. We now have 13 full-time engineers on Borealis who are working continuously to expand the feature set and integrations. When asked why we have so many people on Borealis, the inevitable answer is, “Cloud solutions are the future”. 96% of businesses are actively using cloud products and a majority of them are also looking to transition some or most of their critical infrastructure to the cloud. Equally, most End-Users feel that their infrastructure providers aren’t meeting their needs. Keri, and the security industry in general, need to meet these expectations.
We’ve also expanded our sales force, hiring five additional outside and two inside resources. A cutting-edge phone system was implemented, offering additional features to our Integrator partners. We’ve eliminated the need for the “dreaded queue hold time” and instead, an Integrator can continue working and receive a call back when their place in line comes up.
If 2023 was a year of evolution, 2024 will be a year of even greater transformation. In late Q1, the two most requested features for Borealis will be released when we finish the implementation of EntraGuard and Elevator Control support. Mid-year promises a host of hardware integrations for wireless locks, additional controllers, and software partners in Borealis. In late January, we will also be implementing a hybrid AI/highly trained “bot” for those customers who prefer to help themselves rather than make a call, but don’t worry, our full support staff remains just a phone call away as always.
From all of us at Keri, we wish you all the best for the holiday season and 2024!
